Many of my old friends and colleagues tells me that I should write and share stories from my work and travel experiences. I also have a lot on my mind, not just short blogs, but ideas for longer writings in fiction as well as non-fiction. I often feel animated to do so. So, thanks to these encouragements I will plunge into it and dedicate the My Writings section to present and publish my longer scribbles in this blog as they evolve and turn into publications.
A major part of My Writings will be about my travel and work stories. Personal accounts of my experiences, as well as anecdotal tales from my Ph.D work (including the the curious reasons for why it was never finished). I also want to embark on my historical imaginations – perhaps in epic novel forms – which at the same time perhaps will shed some light on how deep and old our past actually is, way beyond the 10000 years we think there were civilizations. I also have a childrens book series in mind. Oh dear, many ideas, given time, inspiration and energy, and this is the place where my writings will emerge.
